Account Manager - Engineering Division
Up to £24,000 + car allowance - OTE £42,000 - uncapped
Personal Profile
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years recruitment experience within the Engineering Industry
and have a proven track record of delivering successful retained and contingent assignments across a range of disciplines.
You will either be a senior Recruitment Consultant or an Account Manager with strong acedemics and be a competitive
team player. Alternatively you may be an on-site or internal engineering recruiter seeking a fresh challenge and the
opportunity to play an important role in contributing to the success of a fast growing, ambitious recruitment organization.
You will be given significant autonomy in your role, with a support network of a managing consultant, senior
recruitment consultants and resourcers.
Role:
To work with a number of our large clients within the Off-Highway, Automotive and Aerospace sectors.
The role is a delivery focused position, managing a number of our engineering customers recruitment requirements
by exceeding their expectations in terms of permanent vacancy fulfillment. The account manager will also identify
opportunities for growing business within existing customers through networking across all relevant hiring managers, procurement and HR key contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Hiring Managers to qualify the client requirements and associated resource plan
- Building relationships with the Hiring Manager community to deliver an exceptional recruitment service.
- Taking role briefings and agreeing timescales with hiring Managers
- Sourcing candidates from a wide range of appropriate sources including LinkedIn, job boards, database searching,
candidate referrals and on-line advertising, as well as other sourcing channels
- Appropriately prioritising of vacancies and work load
- Developing and managing recruitment campaigns and candidate open days where appropriate
- CV screening, selecting and shortlisting candidates for submission
- Coordinating the negotiation of offers with successful candidates
- Performing service level reviews with clients to ensure service levels and ratios are above expectation
- Monitor and report recruitment activity within the agreed timescales
- Pro-actively develop networks of appropriately skilled resource to support sourcing activity
- Use of Concept pro-proformas in the recruitment process
- Ensure all candidate and client information is accurately recorded into our recruitment software
- Ensure client processes are accurately followed including reference checking and verifying employment history
- Identifying sales opportunities to grow revenue within key accounts
Internal Recruiter - 6 month fixed term contract
Up to £24,000 - OTE £30,000
Profile:
You will have a min. of 2 years recruitment agency experience, ideally gained within IT or Engineering or a R2R environment.
You will understand the competencies and personality traits that makes a successful recruitment consultant.
You will be capable in headhunting recruitment consultants and be able to build relationships with passive candidates using
direct approaches, LinkedIn and other networking methods. Previous experience of recruiting sales people or recruiters very desirable.
Role:
To work with the Directors and Managers in fulfilling all internal vacancies. To promote the Concept brand as an employer of
choice. To build successful working relationships with R2R suppliers and to manage the full recruitment process including headhunting,
shortlisting, interviewing through to successful offer negotiation and induction.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving Concept Resourcing internal headcount targets
- Implementing and managing candidate attraction strategy
- Advertising job vacancies through job boards, hard copy media and other means necessary
- Co-ordinating with R2Rs where required
- Telephone interviewing and face to face interviewing potential candidates
- Liaising with managers and arranging 2nd interviews
- Liaising directly with Managing Director to arrange final interviews
- Managing Assessment Days where required
- Providing verbal offers, compiling offer letters & sending contracts ensuring strict confidentiality
- Placing recruitment consultants to other agencies that are not suitable for Concept (expectation of 6 placements in year 1)
- Liaising with outsourced IT providers to ensure all new starters have access to all IT systems & job boards
- Setting up new employees on system – Network, RED, Broadbean
- Coordinating new employee induction process and ensuring all necessary new starter paperwork is complete for HR filing
- Assisting with new starter inductions and 2 month catch ups
- Compiling weekly KPI reports and reporting performance to the Managing Director on a weekly basis
- Business Protection. Chasing all clients interviews on RED to catch “lost invoices”
- General administration and input to in-house database
Principal Recruitment Consultant
£24,000 - £30,000 + car allowance - OTE £80,000
Profile:
You will have a min. of 4 years recruitment experience, ideally gained within IT or Engineering, however,
we welcome applications from consultants with a successful track record in other sectors. You should be able
to demonstrate success through achievement against previous revenue targets and also development of business
relationships (both candidates and clients). You must have ability for both new business generation and
account management / delivery. Any experience of selling value-added services such as managed services,
retained business or managing agency solutions is advantageous.
Role:
To deliver an exceptional recruitment service to all our clients and candidates. To achieve personal GP
sales targets and assist the team in exceeding company sales targets through developing successful and long
term business relationships with both candidates and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Developing client relationships in order to place Concept Resourcing as a preferred staffing partner
- Selling value added solutions such as managing agency and psychometric assessments
- Updating candidate and client activity onto recruitment software

You will have a min. of 12 months office based sales experience, ideally within a business to business environment.
Any experience of outbound telesales or general B2B sales experience is very desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
You should be able to clearly demonstrate your achievements to date either academically or throughout your work history.
You will be confident, ambitious and focused on progressing your career.
