Role Purpose
Seeking a high-performing Business Development Director to drive new customer acquisition, revenue, and market growth. The ideal candidate excels in technology sales, business development, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue opportunities, focusing on digital transformation and legacy systems modernization.
- Sales Strategy: Develop strategic plans to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
- Networking: Leverage industry events and networks to generate leads.
- Client Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Proposals: Collaborate internally to create compelling client proposals.
- Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor positioning.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide market insights.
- Team Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and delivery teams for consistent messaging.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in tech sales (focus on digital transformation, cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, AI, or legacy systems preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services industries preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
