Field Service Engineer (EPOS / IT Hardware)

Concept are currently recruiting for an EPoS field service engineer based in the West Midlands / Worcestershire area to work directly for a convenience store chain
The Role:
- Repair and breakfix of EPOS hardware
- Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented procedures
- Data Cabling
- Provide EPOS operational standards advice – Via Telephone, modem, Best Practice and / or training
- Ensuring personal availability at all times required within defined territory(s
- Holding adequate spares availability at all times within defined territory(s)
- Compliance that all deployed / repaired systems are asset tracked and assigned to the correct customer
- Ensuring non-EPOS PC based ordering systems are supported and available
- Support the Helpdesk team as required
- General administration duties
- Communicate any observations of future potential issues which may arise from any IT system
Working Hours:
- 40 hours a week, predominantly Monday – Friday
- 1 in 3 weekends – Saturday + Sunday on call – 2 days off in lieu following week
Required Experience:
- Previous experience as an EPoS Field Service Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Field Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer etc.
Package:
- Salary £28,000 + company van + overtime available when working bank holidays
- 23 days holiday
