Concept are looking for a junior Installation & Delivery Driver to be based locally to Bath working for an innovative document solutions provider !
Their dedicated team of experienced industry professionals service an extensive portfolio of SMB, corporate, public sector and education clients, throughout the South West of England.
THE ROLE
You will be collecting, delivering and installing a variety of products such as photocopiers, and printers whilst providing a high level of customer service. Its is essential you are living within Bath / Somerset regions and hold a UK driving license .
THE CANDIDATE
I am looking for reliable individuals with van driving experience, practical manual along with IT skills for installing the products , a flexible approach to work and a great customer facing attitude.
The role will involve heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically fit and you will be given relevant safety training.
Usual working hours will be Monday to Friday but flexibility will be required at times to meet customer need
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading of the office equipment from delivery vehicles
- Review paperwork to ensure all logistic requirements are complete
- Assist with delivery, installation, and collection as instructed
- Site & assemble equipment safely & in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
- Retrieve & re-input network data between old & new devices
- Perform full function test including device print prior to obtaining customer signature
- Maintaining regular communication with Installation coordinator and customers
- Daily safety & maintenance checks of delivery vehicle
- Assist warehouse staff when required
- Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when required
- Adhere to company administrative processes
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- IT skills – basic Microsoft Word and Excel advantageous
- Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised at times
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintains a positive, tenacious attitude in challenging situations
- Flexibility on start and finish times to meet business needs
