Tell us about your journey in recruitment so far.

I started my first role in recruitment back in 2012 with a small agency specialising in Technology Recruitment. After 7 years working agency side I decided to take the plunge and move internally where I worked for global organisations Capgemini, Deloitte and AWS.

My roles as an internal recruiter gave me some amazing opportunities to recruit globally and travel to some amazing countries in the Nordics, DACH and Eastern European regions.

After 6 years working internally, I decided that a return to the agency world would be my next step in my career and there was only one business on my list… Concept!

Why Concept?

Concept as a business were one of my first competitors in the recruitment world back in 2012 where I would constantly rival some of my now colleagues in placing permanent hires into the Managed print Sector.

Having seen Concept grow from a handful of employees back when I entered into recruitment to the 100+ staff they currently have there was only one place I wanted to join when I decided to take the next step in my career.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Apart from being a dad taxi for my two little ones and part time DIY enthusiast I can normally be found either trying to play football/cricket (depending on the season) on a Saturday afternoon or spending time with my family.

If you were a film character who would you be?

Has to be Harry Potter.... Massive fan of the books and I was lucky enough that growing up the original films were shot near where I lived so I was fortunate enough to audition for the first few films... Sadly I didn't get any big roles. My best friends brothers however were cast as the Weasley twin brothers so a small claim to fame.
